"First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone,

FOR KINGS AND ALL THOSE WHO ARE IN AUTHORITY, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity."

National Day of Prayer

National Day of Prayer is tomorrow! (May 7) That means two things:

1. PLEASE, all of you, join together in prayer on this day to pray for our nation. Don't use Pray for Our President Week as an excuse. God's Word tells us to "pray without ceasing," and any chance we can get to gather the nation together in Jesus' name can be miraculous!

2. Pray for Our President Week is exactly one month away. I'm asking all of you to please help spread the word, and begin planning prayer meetings in your churches, small groups, and Christian organizations. And above all, even though pray for our president week isn't here yet, please use this time leading up to the event to pray that God will move powerfully through His people's prayer during that second week in June.
